Join us for an imaginary trip around Latin America and Spain through music and dance with DESEO CARMIN for an evening of Latin Jazz and fusion flamenco!

Deseo Carmin is an award winning and 2018 TEDx Seattle Speaker/Artist performing a fiery fusion of Latin, jazz and funk with the spice of flamenco! Their sultry original arrangements are paired with popular Latin, Brazilian and Spanish songs they call "Spanish music with an edge"! They intermix music with dance and colorful costumes that gets the audience enthralled with their music and visuals. Their music has already transcended borders as far as Latin America where they currently receive radio and television play in Paraguay and Chile..

Throughout the years DESEO CARMIN has performed at several well-known venues such as Benaroya Hall, McCaw Hall, Broadway Center for the Performing Arts, and Triple Door. Their music has been featured in local radio stations as well as NBC's King 5, Seattle Channel and KCTS Channel 9’s “Arts Zone”. They are proud to have been nominated in the category of "Composer of the Year 2018" and "Best Rock and Pop Song of the Year 2019" at the "Latin Music Awards" by Univision Seattle, as well as being the recipient of a nomination for a music award in the 2011 New Music Seminar Artists on the Verge (AOV) project. AOV identifies the 100 artists most ready to break each year and it’s a great achievement for DESEO CARMIN to have been nominated to this exclusive list from millions of artists throughout the U.S.

The Zen Arts Group is a house concert group in NE Seattle. ZAG started in August 2014 and meets about once a month.

Music starts at 7:30pm
Tix $20-30 sliding scale.
Purchase tickets in advance via “Book this event” button at the top of the page or via Venmo @zagseattle (last 4 digits of phone number 9882 & specify date or name of artist, and number of tickets) .
Door tickets via cash or Venmo if available.
Age 15 and younger free admission.
ZAG seating space is limited & events are selling out, so we suggest advance tix purchase.

FOOD Feel free to bring snacks and drinks for snack table to share with guests.
