ZAG is proud to host Susan Carr Trio!

Susan Carr’s Ensemble has been featured in Earshot Jazz magazine to Spin magazine. World class percussionist/vibraphone, Nonda Trimis, guitarist, Robert Petersen and vocalist, Susan Carr have created a percussion driven Brazilian sound to contemporary and international songwriters.  Susan molds her voice with jazz, blues and samba of contemporary artists such as Melody Gardot, Susannah McCorkle, Chiara Civello, Anitta, Susana Baca, Rosa Passos singing in English, Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese. The ensemble has played many exciting shows in Seattle from Tula’s to Bumbershoot to NW Folklife Festival to The Triple Door to the Anacortes Arts Festival. Susan Carr is also known for vocally training Seattle’s most well known artists such as Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), The Head and the Heart, Sarah Rudinoff (Seattle Genius Award Winner), Hey Marseilles, Dude York, Chastity Belt, King YoungBloods, Minus the Bear, Pickwick, Alice In Chains and Macklemore and many more.

The Zen Arts Group is a house concert group in NE Seattle. ZAG started in August 2014 and meets about once a month.

Tix $20-30 sliding scale.
Purchase tickets in advance via “Book this event” button at the top of the page or via Venmo @zagseattle (last 4 digits of phone number 9882 & specify date or name of artist, and number of tickets) .
Door tickets via cash or Venmo if available.
Age 15 and younger free admission.
ZAG seating space is limited & events are selling out, so we suggest advance tix purchase.

FOOD Feel free to bring snacks and drinks for snack table to share with guests.
